The course includes a combination of lecture, class discussion, participation in self-care practices, 3 Reiki attunements and hands-on Reiki practice. The Doula will become certified and attuned in Reiki-Level 1-Shoden.

The Reiki-Level 2-Okuden course will teach the Doula how to perform and incorporate advanced Reiki techniques into their clinical practice in order to provide physical and emotional support and comfort to mothers before, during and after childbirth. Students will also learn how to incorporate distance Reiki, which can be utilized during telehealth sessions or in person when hands-on practice may not be optimal. The course includes a combination of lecture, class discussion, participation in self-care practices, 3 Reiki attunements and hands-on Reiki practice. The Doula will become certified and attuned in Okuden-Level 2 Reiki. (Note-The Reiki Healing Center of NJ Reiki-Level 1-Shoden class is a prerequisite to attend the Okuden course.)
