Directions for accessing and registering for the Breastfeeding Basics Online independent study program:

· Address: www.breastfeedingbasics.org (The DONA website directly links you to it.)

· Click on register (top bar)

· Pick a logon and password. After you choose your ID and Password, save it so you do not forget it!

· Answer the 7 anonymous demographic questions

· If you are taking this course for Postpartum Doula Certification, you will need to complete the course prior to taking the workshop. Bring a copy of your test scores with you to the postpartum doula workshop and include copies of your scores in each module to send in with your application for certification.

· If you are taking the course for Birth Doula Certification, make sure to print out copies of your scores in each module to include them in your application packet for certification.

· Click on the modules on the left bar to start completing the online course.

· You will have 365 days to complete the course from the day you register. You must obtain a score of at least a 75% on each module.

· When you have completed everything, return to home page (top bar).
