DONA International is the oldest, largest and most recognized doula organization in the world. By joining DONA, you will associate yourself with doulas who hold a high standard of practice and ethics. A New Member Packet includes copies of DONA International's Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics, Brochures, Position Papers, and other informative materials that will help doulas as they start their own practice. 3. What is the Lapsed Membership Policy for DONA Certified Doulas?

If you are a DONA International certified doula, you can be listed simply by contacting our home office. 5. If I am not certified yet, will I still be listed in the Online Referral Directory?
No. However, your contact information will be available to families looking for non-certified doulas via email or telephone requests to DONA International. 6. Do I have to be a DONA International member to be listed in the online Referral Directory?
