Kyndal May, MFA, LMP, CD(DONA), BDT(DONA), LCCE. A private practice childbirth professional since 1995, Kyndal has attended over 300 births. She is a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, with well over 3500 hours of teaching experience and her unique teaching platform is used by doulas and childbirth educators in the US and abroad. A Licensed Massage Practitioner since 1989, she incorporates her background in bodywork and movement into her classes to facilitate awareness for both expectant parents and new doulas. Her entrepreneurial spirit is evident in having launched, built and sold successful private practice businesses in both Dallas, TX and Seattle, WA before moving to Boise, Idaho where she now balances her life and work. As a DONA approved Birth Doula Trainer she offers advanced doula trainings in bereavement, communication and business. Kyndal’s photography has been published in The Essential Homebirth Guide and Birth Ambassadors: Doulas and the Re-emergence of Woman Supported Childbirth in the United States. Kyndal has volunteered in DONA leadership since 2012 and currently serves as the Director of Education.
