Linda Worzer, IBCLC, AdvCD/BDT(DONA), AAHCC
Southwestern U.S. Director
Representing: AZ, CO, NM, NV, OK, TX, UT
The widowed mother of four adult children and four grandchildren, Linda has served mothers and babies since 1977. Her first birth experience sparked a deep desire to help educate mothers and their partners about birth options. That led directly to the name of her business: “Natural Beginnings . . . the informed parent’s resource.” Her organization now includes four IBCLCs, three childbirth educators, seven birth doulas (all DONA members) and a breast pump depot. She’s attended over 600 births as a doula, trained hundreds of birth doulas and helped thousands of parents become educated about options for birth. Linda is an author, lecturer, DONA-Approved Birth Doula Trainer and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. She is an active member of many birth-related organizations. Linda was honored with Advanced Doula Designation by DONA, International in 2015, the inaugural year of the award. She has been chosen “Best Doula in Dallas” five times by readers of Dallas Child Magazine – most recently in 2014. She is currently serving her second term on the DONA Board of Directors.
