Spirit Fund Application | DONA International

DONA International is pleased to be able to offer a limited amount of fee waivers to qualified members and selected applicants.

If financial concerns will keep you from attending the summit and you are a DONA International member in good standing, you are invited to apply.

A limited number of waivers are available.
Some awardees may also be eligible for partial travel expense reimbursement (guidelines apply) in addition to registration fee waivers.
Registration fee waivers are available for both the in-person and virtual Keynote Live conference.
All in-person awardees are required to volunteer (speaker support, greeters, filling swag bags etc) during the conference (not during sessions).

Please upload an essay (750 words) that includes: a) applicant’s motivation for attending the DONA Summit b) how the applicant plans to use the skills learned at the Summit to benefit his/her/their community and the short- and long-term goals following the Summit completion c) description of events or circumstances that have shaped your desire to attend the Summit and will help us know more about you d) what you believe will be your potential contribution to your community after attending the Summit. SIGNED STATEMENT: By signing this form, I am indicating that (a) I am a current DONA International member; (b) I have financial need and would not otherwise be able to attend the DONA International Annual Conference; (c) I agree to accept the Committee’s decision without question in the event I am not selected; (d) I understand that approved in-person applicants will be required to volunteer to provide conference support duties during portions of the conference when not at sessions.; (e) I understand that if I am awarded travel reimbursement, I am required to submit receipts to receive reimbursement.
