Ericka Sinclair, MS, MPH is a Health Care Visionary who, as the Founder and CEO of Health Connections, Inc., a healthcare firm that since 2015, has provided direct clinical care and wraparound behavioral and social service referrals for vulnerable populations who traditionally experience barriers to accessing health care. The clinic’s areas of focus are Primary Care, HIV Care/Treatment/Prevention, and Transgender Health.
In doing this work, Ms. Sinclair has become an advocate, mentor, teacher, consultant, and speaker on health equity, trauma-informed care, diversity and inclusion, and health care access. Ericka Sinclair also serves as the Vice-Chair for the City of Milwaukee’s (WI) very first Board of Health.
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020, Ericka Sinclair has used her 25+ years of experience in international public health, emergency management response, and health care administration to simultaneously coordinate several major pandemic response efforts – including Mobile Community and In-Home COVID Testing and Vaccinations – for the Greater Milwaukee community. Ms. Sinclair continues to coordinate and spearhead multiple collaborative health equity and social justice efforts with a diverse group of Community, County, and State-level entities to respond to the ongoing crisis of COVID-19 and beyond. Simultaneously she continues to address the varied needs of local clientele yet facing barriers to health care access and equity. Her COVID-19 relief activities led to Ericka Sinclair being named as a BizTimes Media’s Notable Heroes in Health Care in December 2020.
